I didn’t know that the general was the convening authority in many court marshals but I did read the affidavit in it’s entirety. I had been thinking Lakin was screwed but now that I read that i was VERY hopeful for a successful outcome for him in some fashion. he may not get the birth certificate he wishes to see, but at least I think he won’t go to Leavenworth either.
The man deserves a medal IMO .. he is defending the constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic at a cost of great sacrifice.
He belongs in the history books as a great patriot.
On another note, i would love to be a fly on the wall in the Oval office when they discuss this. Obama must be furious and scared at the same time. I would think that he is probably going to have to start making nice nice with people so they don’t put pressure on anyone to make this come out. He will want it to go away bad.
