It works well for me.
Illegal immigrants with fake ids can vote and get added to virtually an entitlement program available, they get in-state college tuition breaks and free schooling.
And Americans can no longer access cold medicine without a background check and an entry into a tracking database?
When I worked in a pharmacy in Ohio as a kid we would have our regular Kough Kids in there every 72 hours for their TH & C. You could tell the fakers because they would start coughing as soon as they walked in the door but as soon as they had their little bottle,bought and paid for, there was nary a throat clearing as they left.We had one old pharmacist that always demanded to see everyone who requested the stuff and he would kick 90% of the customers out of the store muttering “damn junkies” as they walked off red faced.

Better the drug companies work to curb abuse by the FDA! They are the bad actors in this scenario!
Oh yes, let’s add another 5 million doctor visits a year to the pipeline.
I've told this here before, but the last time I needed to get some of my cold formula advil, I also needed to pick up an RX for vicodin. My pharmacy knows me, and they just handed me my vicodin, but needed to get a photocopy of my drivers license and fill out some paperwork for the state the cold formula advil!

My American lit. teacher used to come to class every day all jacked up on cough syrup.
