The Cole was bombed when Clinton was in office. If it was such a slam-dunk then why didn’t Bush put them on trial? Why did we wait until these yahoos took over?

Should GWB have run roughshod over the SCOTUS and Congress (and MCain)? Yes.
But, being in search of "a new tone in Washington", he didn't.
