He is having serious marriage problems. The head Wookie is hot on his tail and she knows and he knows how badly she can hurt him. He is under extreme pressure to keep her pacified but knows she can explode just any minute. This adds to his terrible tension and stress. He is trying to just keep things together long enough for this situation to blow over or mend but she isn’t having any of it until she gets her way, whatever that is. This situation never will end and he knows it because he knows he can’t ever satisfy her. All the while he continues to try to function as best he can in a job he does not like because he does not want any responsibility because he is an idea man only.

Sounds like a soap opera but the looks from her and the look on him tell me it is possible.

I’m watching the re-run on Fox and his voice sounds as if he was screaming at the top of his lungs earlier in the day. He must have had a shouting match with Michelle losing some of his voice. It was also clearly obvious that he was jumping from one sentence to another rushing through the lines on the teleprompter. The text must have been moving too fast for him. This explains why Krauthammer said the speech was was disjointed.
