Ovide Lamontagne is our choice for the U.S. Senate.
He is not the flashiest candidate. He certainly is not the richest. He isn't the favorite of the bigtime professional pols or the Washington crowd.
Ovide is just a smart-as-a-whip, honest, hard-working son of New Hampshire who says what he believes. What he believes makes sense to save our nation from economic ruin; and he will stick to it come hell, high water, or demands from party bosses to "go along and get along.''

We need every real conservative we can get in the Senate!
She doesn’t appear to be a RINO and also appears to be in the best position to defeat Hodes. Just read her issues page. Don’t know much about this other guy.

Ovide is definitely the conservative choice.
But just like Duncan Hunter, he’s probably destined to pull 3% - especially since Palin endorsed Ayotte (wrong pick IMHO).
The race seems to be between Ayotte and Binnie - the only two with money to run heavy TV/radio.
Ovide does have a decent share of lawn signs however.
My guess Ayotte takes it and goes on to crush Hodes (though so would Ovide)
Mitt Romney didn’t sound like the libtard he was during his campaign either. You have to scratch the surface veneer.
A primary is a good thing..it will encourage Ayotte to be more conservative, define her positions more clearly, and also, it’s a warm-up for the general..which will be a short campaign in NH...get her on top of her game..
I’d rather her endorse the pretty-conservative Ayotte for the win than the more conservative Ovid for the sure loss. This way the RINO in the race isn’t the GOP candidate.
Laura Ingraham endorsed him yesterday. I guess Ayotte has waffled back and forth on a lot of issues but when she said she would have voted for Kagan that did it for Laura.
Yikes!!
Good analysis. Though I doubt Palin thought that deeply about it.
After listening to the Laura Ingraham Show the last two days, Ayotte is a big old RINO endorsed by the GOP elites.
She is on audio saying she was all for Sotomayor. She also blocked efforts to curb illegal immigration.
I don’t care what she says now, her audio and record tell the tale of a big fat RINO.
Yep. See my reply at post #4
I guess people in NH have said the the real conservative mentioned here has a good chance against the democrat.
No excuses to support the RINO Ayotte.
Laura Ingraham spoke about this yesterday and today. The lady candidate sounds really bad. Said she would have voted for Sotomayor. As AG, she’s given some assistance to Planned Parenthood. Laura did not agree with the Palin endorsement. Said just because she’s a woman doesn’t mean she’s the best candidate. Let’s hope NH does not elect a RHINO.
I’m knocking on wood.
Keep in mind that DeVore in CA was polling as well as the others in a head to head with Babs Boxer. But the Pinko Elephant endorsement carried the day, unfortunately.
That was dispelled on the Laura Ingraham Show today. She’s Uber-RINO.
Laura likes Palin, even has her on her show occasionally, but she says she has to disagree on this endorsement. She thinks she picked her because she is a woman, not because she is conservative.
McCain pick?
The candidate currently in 2nd place behind Ayotte IS a liberal, Bill Binnie.
RINOS would give a thumbs up to Sotomayor as Ayotte is on audio doing.
As AG, Ayotte famously took Planned Parenthood to court and beat them, in support of NH's parental notification law.
She said she would have supported Sotomayor and opposed Kagan. I'm not too hard up on Senators voting against every liberal nominee, though that would be my preference.
