Could you please point to the place in the Constitution that states that the Will of the Majority can override what is outlined in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights?

Your point is well taken and it depends upon the context. Take the prop 8 bill in Ca. The majority of voters decided that Gay Marriage would not be recognized. Now the upper courts have to decide to overthrow the will of the people or find that Gay marriage is protected in the US Constitution?
