DeAngelis couldn't be more correct about Matthews.

I guess the event was a “nightmare” to some — e.g., our evil president and his accomplices in Congress. The devil gets a bit nervous with so many good people around.
To: jazusamo
Why this fascination with Matthews. He’s a minor leaguer who doesn’t deserve any attention.

"Reporting on the event, an acerbic media stunned by the large, God-centered turnout repeatedly played the race card and underscored the fact that few minorities were spotted in the crowd."
I wonder if these same news organizations scanned the crowd at Sharpton's event to find out how many white people were there. I'm just askin'.....

Chris Matthews felt it was his patriotic duty to spew malice and spin the "Restoring Honor" Lincoln Memorial event into what he defined as a "nightmare." Those dimwitted libtards who deny individual natural rights in order to surrender, violate, or plunder the life, freedom, happiness, and property of others will end up unhappy and resentful if the society remains free and the government remains just.

I don’t normally watch MSNBC, but in situations like this event, watching Mathews, Olberwoman, et al. have a coronary can be fun.

Well said, Matthews and those of his ilk cannot flourish in a free and just society.

Presently, the left is frantically rooting around in a political dumpster for their last grasp of discordant power. Race baiters are emerging from the farthest recesses of a refuse heap with a crumpled, stained race card firmly in hand.Excellent imagery. And accurate.

Sadly, the tingle that ran up little Chrissies leg during the Obama campaign went all the way up to his head, blowing his tiny vestigial brain out his left ear. Given the many times Chrissie has gladly taken it in the ear for his pals on the left, the size of that orifice made the blowout inevitable. The scar reveals that he DID have a transplant. Unfortunately, it was the cryogenically preserved brain of Lyndon Baines Johnson and turned out to be even smaller than the original organ, probably because as with nearly ALL Democrats -- it had never been used.

Julian Jaynes said that humans have an innate hunger for gods (and God) because for millennia they absolutely believed in the existence of gods or God.
Obama seems to have recognized this powerful need and has taken full advantage of it by casting himself as the secular and muslim messiah (I don't know how Obama, as a basically secular person, knew such a need existed).
The fact that Matthews and his fellow atheists are willing to accept Obama as their messiah is why they are so enthralled IMHO. However, since Obama doesn't have any real messianic abilities, I would expect that there will be an eventual backlash.
So far, Obama has avoided a backlash by redirecting his followers attention to those who oppose him and blaming Bush. But eventually that is bound to fail.

I’m too lazy to look up the video, but if you saw The Chris Matthews Show on Saturday it was the funniest, 30 minutes of liberal delusion I have seen for a long time.

Why this fascination with Matthews. Hes a minor leaguer who doesnt deserve any attention. I fear Matthews might get a 'thrill' out of us not liking him... Liberals love to huddle together in victim-hood...
Makes me wonder if his sexual appetites tend toward whips and chains...

As they move further and further to the left, they become near parodies of themselves, and thus, more irrelevant. As a political junkie, during the Clinton era and the the 2000 election, Hardball was a must watch for me every night. I haven’t looked at it, or MSNBC in 5 years, and frankly, don’t think we shoudl even bother worrying about what they say/think. Every time I see a thread posted here about, for example, “The Ed show”..I ask myself..why? and who could possibly care?
