could also be read as “30% of the population are dependent slackers and hard-core Communists”

What would be the number if the TV viewership were added in?

I’ve been waiting to see this headline for a long, long time. The thing is the con is worse and goes back further than most people can even begin to realize.

I agree with his sentiments. But I don't think we have 70% any more. Probably closer to 60/40. If it was 70% Obama wouldn't still have 45% approval. But he does and the fact that we don't like it doesn't change it.
Over 40% of this nation takes more from the government than they give. They are never going to want to go back to the way things were, because in the world before the progressives the willfully ignorant and the lazy were not rewarded for their vices.

Thanks for posting.
I followed Hewitt on his radio show while I was in Los Angeles,
right from the start till I left in 2005.
He started off with a diplomatic approach to the Dems/Socialists...
but he has grown a spine over the year.
Especially in the aftermath of 9-11 when the Dems/Socialists
revealed themselves to be more aligned with The Soldiers of Allah
than with the USA.
Hewitt is obviously a very smart guy. But he did get an education
in “enemies foreign AND DOMESTIC” after 9-11.

I think the difference in the number at the Beck Rally, and the Sharpton Rally is the tell-tale evidence of how we really have them outnumbered, and that we are taking the threats posed to our country a lot more seriously that just those worried about losing their handouts.
Beck's Rally attended by people who fully intend to participate in taking the country back, Sharpton's rally attended by those who only focus on race, using the same old, tired, 1940's mantra of "da man is holdin' me down".
But the time for trying to reason is past, either you agree with them 100%, and hand them yours, your kids and your grandkid's wallets, or you're a "racist".
The time for talking and trying to explain normal common sense to these chia pets is over...all they want is to be "watered" with your tax money a lot, and often.
Quit feeding the feral cats, and they will stop coming to your door.

2008, voters, for various reasons, voted for change...
2010, voters, for one reason, will vote for a refund...
...and that reason is they (even though we tried to warn them) did get conned into believing a bald-face lie.

lets see if 70 % of people equals 70 % of voters and if they can retake polls from theives to get the country back..I already see Repbulican Rino’s making big mistakes ..like interfering in Alaska elections.

"Seventy percent of Americans know they've been conned"
I'd say the 40% of Americans who identify themselves as conservatives realized before Nov. 2008 that he was an empty suit at best. 30% were actually conned, and the remaining 30% were true believers who needed no con job.

Minimum estimate of Saturday's crowd on the Mall: 300,000 Maximum estimate: One million people. Meaning of the crowd: An enormous upheaval in the emotions of average Americans is coursing through the country, with a certain significance for November's elections. It will have a lasting, profound impact on America's political direction.
The other thirty percent are in favor of the con, or perhaps are just stone-cold stupid. Thanks Hojczyk.
