“Whoever heard of a hurricane having anniversary observances before? Every other natural disaster in American history, folks just cleaned up, buried the dead, rebuilt and moved on. But not Katrina. Gotta remember Katrina forever. Its the liberals September 11. They just THINK Bush caused 9/11, but they KNOW he caused Katrina, and they can PROVE IT!”
Well, in S.Florida we had Hurricane Andrew observances for years afterward. I agree with your point, though-people need to get over it! But it must gall the lefties to realize if Katrina had hit in 2004 instead of 2005, Bush might not have been reelected...;)

"The first lady's cleanse involves eating as many fruits and vegetables as possible and cutting out fats, oil, dairy, meat, caffeine, sugar and starch for a short period of time, according to the White House."

she looks like a street walker.
I am really interested in the mount of money she is pissing away on herself while everyone is suffering at this time.

Hey Crazy Lady, Buy your own drink. Geez!
First lady Michelle Obama, center, tastes Eric Whitaker's drink and President Barack Obama looks on at right, outside Nancy's Restaurant in Oak Bluffs while the first family is vacationing on Martha's Vineyard, Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010.

She doesn't sit or stand like a lady. You are so correct...she's a disgrace... as our First Lady and an embarrassing representative of the US. Everytime I see a photo of her sitting inappropriately or standing stooped over with her feet planted 3 feet apart all I can think is "no home-training". Her mother should be ashamed of herself.
She could also benefit from my grandma's advice..."Just because they make it in your size doesn't mean you have to wear it".

A very, very short period of time, obviously. The longest 15 minutes of her life.

It happens. Before Katrina, the local stations would show a Camille program every year at the beginning of hurricane season. Some storms, like Camille and now Katrina, just seem to have a life of their own.

But she did appropriately leave off her white girl straight hair wig, a real plus.
Saving it for the campaign trail.
