In the 2008 Begich/Stevens election, THIRTY PERCENT of the votes were early, absentee or questione ballots (over 90,000 votes).

Here it is about 15% (15,000 potential GOP voters). 92,000 votes cast.

Stevens led by 1% on election night. Miller led by 2%, twice as large a lead.

Begich had a sophisticated early/absentee vote operation. Murkowski did not.

Begich/Stevens generate 9500 early votes. Murkowski/Miller generated about 500.

You want any other difference
