Bet they don’t do a damn thing to her. One of the comments after the story was an attack on Tom DeLay. Changing the subject, RATS?

What’s the use of having power if you can’t benefit by it? There is a lot of Blago in most politicians.

I live in the next district to Eddie Bernice. When the dems were in charge of the state house in Texas, we were always in fear that we might be gerrymandered into her district.

She spends more time slushing funds around for her relatives, than she does doing her job.

Those two are what you get when you don't spring for a better-quality human costume.

You end up looking like walking mushrooms.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

And then there’s John Wiley Price, the Dallas black racist dumbass who thinks that a “black hole” is “racist.

Just who were these “relatives”, how much did they get and at which schools did they spend our money? Taxpayers with Enquiring minds want to know.

“We all know how easy it is to forget and not recognize the names of our own grand children. Anybody can make such as simple mistake.”

Well, if all your children and grandchildren have different last names, she may well use that very defense!

Okay, will there be anything the republicans can do to
make sure she goes to prison, when they get back in power?

We know nothing will be done now.

How’s that Sharpton corruption and Waters corruption investigations going?

Another black congressperson committing crimes with the power of their office. How shocking. Well, the dems seem to have the ethics committee fired up lately, time for another case to be examined.

The problem is NOT Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson. The real problem is the sort of person who routinely votes for her. The problems is the person who will hear of her corruption and still vote for her. If she were run out of Congress, it would not surprise me that the people in her district would elect another Eddie Bernice Johnson. This is blasphemy to say this but it's true and just about everyone knows it. We must not the afraid to speak the truth.

For many years here on FR I have been complaining about the abuse of the US nonprofit corporation laws. Way too many times the handlers of thee nonprofits are using them to push their own political agenda, to line their own pockets or to outright compete with real corporations. I looked at the 990 for this group. Here is a link to the actual 2008 IRS 990 filing. Note pages numbers 7 and 8. They have a huge amount of payroll compared to their income.

Check out their cash and assets on page 13. Take a look at page 22. Their main handler, Elsi Scott, made $211,500 in 2008 and the next person made $170,100.

Look at page #24. They spent nearly $27,000 on NIKE shoes!

They brought in approx. $8 million in 2008. They received $225,000 in government grants ( page 9, part e). Out of that they only spent $675,000 on scholarships.

Check it out:

Something has to be done about these nonprofits that have no business being nonprofits! This particular one is one of several that the Congressional Black Caucus has. Why?

Actually, part of her defense is that grandchildren are NOT “part of your immediate family”.

But this loser will never be voted out b/c a majority of her constituents are losers too. Birds of a feather, ya know.
