That's BS, McGavin. It's a Republican district. Plenty of Republicans were already fed up with Bush (and definitely McCain) in 2006. Plenty of Republicans were in open rebellion against amnesty in 2006.

JD lost because he lost. It wasn't Bush's fault. It wasn't McCain's fault. It was JD's weakness.

He wasn't a strong candidate.
