"To suggest that the NRSC has sent an attorney to Alaska to skew results is paranoid," Murkowski said.

just because your paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get you.

When the NRSC is out to get you, paranoid is just good thinking.

Is it just me or is the GOP actively throwing away any advantage it had going into November.

She said her lawyers were hired "to make sure that every Alaskan's vote counts in this election.

Where did I hear that quote before?

Of course they're doing that. Any time the "IN" candidate starts to slip, the "Big Boys" send in the "Hired Guns" to try to change the outcome. Just the same way the Dems did in Minnisota to get Frankin in. No surprise either place.

So far, it is obvious this woman does not care about the people, Alaska or the US. If she is honorable; she will step down.

You can't blame Miller for not wanting to get “Frankened”.

No doubt in my mind that Miller is correct. The Hiearchy pushed McCain for President. They supported him in the election this year and McCain is a fence straddler at best and a liberal at worst. He says what he thinks it takes to get elected. I supported McCain the first time he ran against Bush. Since then I have paid attention to him and he is nothing more than a full time politician and elitist like Murkowski. The people should never have the right to dethrone the king or an elitist. This is the thinking of both parties.

I'll bet more Republicans and Republican Moderates voted for Lisa than for Miller.

I think there were lots of Undeclared, Nonpartisan and Alaska Independents who voted for Miller.

When an insider like Bob Dole (Rino, KS) donates to Charlie Crist after he leaves the GOP to run as an independent against the republican nominee for Senator, you have to wonder.

"Alaska is ONE of the states that is DENYING the military vote"

Rather a harsh statement FRiend.

Current Alaska law allows absentee ballots that are postmarked by election day - 10 days after election (15 days for overseas) they are counted. Late date or later than 15 days and they are tossed. Sorry, that's the law.

The problem lies in the brouhaha over the FEDERAL law ( UOCAVA AKA Public Law 99-410) requiring ballots being sent 45 days in advance of the election.

The FULL story with all related documents are here thanks to the DoD - normally a good source on military related issues....

Hope these facts help you to understand the real story behind the sensational news bites.

ASOC out

I bet many of those will never vote Republican again if they feel disenfranchised by Murkowski.

Only registered Republicans are allowed to vote in the primary for Republics to stop any such shenaigans.

Been that way since 1992
