A friend reported that some of his neighbors never made it to the rally because of difficulty getting on the metro. He said the crowd was huge, and he saw about ten blacks with Tea Party T-shirts.
The local transit authority has purposefully tried to screw up the traffic and make getting there more difficult. Google has blocked directions to the monument. Childish and evil

The Memphis Tea Party is backing her 100%. Her incumbent opponent is a obama butt kisser Steve Cohen who NEVER met a tax hike he didn’t vote for.
There weren't as many in proportion as there had been at the Tea Party last 9/12/09, but there were people of color throughout. I sat near an Asian guy during the rally, and blacks were scattered throughout. We saw a young black woman wearing the Beck's "Faith Hope Charity" logo on her t-shirt with her mother (in a wheelchair) at the small Tea Party rally with Michelle Bachmann. It was on the other side of the Washington Monument grounds, following the Beck rally.
