If now awake voters stay engaged we can change the GOP. We need to fill power positions at local levels with conservatives and work through the ranks and up. And keep pushing conservative candidates. Donating only to candidates gives them the money they need and starves the beast.

Yup, that's where it's at right now. Starve the beast and the party will have to follow.

But right now it seems like the GOP thinks they can be MICE (little RATS).

Do they really think they will gain many liberal votes by pretending to be "kinder, gentler" conservatives? The left will take their cooperation when given and then still stab them in the back.

They had better wake up soon, 2010 is here with elections looming and 2012 is going to come fast. Hopefully the 2010 results will be transformative for the GOP and the RINOs will have to move out of the way.
