The Obama administration is moving to release thousands of illegal immigrants detained at facilities across the country if the immigrants have a potential path to legal residency. The move could affect as many as 17,000 immigrants who entered the country illegally or overstayed their visas, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials. It comes amid a push by ICE to focus on illegal immigrants who have committed crimes, rather than seek to deport all illegal immigrants.

I’m reminded of a legendary incident where LAPD, fed up with the activities of Hollywood hookers and the refusal of the authorities in neighboring West Hollywood to help, rounded up a bunch of them and marched them across the border into WeHo. I wonder if local governments could offer to take a pass on misdemeanor prosecutions for those who voluntarily self-deport. You could make the same offer to everyone so there’d be no civil rights issue. In my neighborhood, there’d be hundreds a week riding that Sheriff’s bus “home”.
At the exact same time they are moving to halt Sheriff Joe Arpaio in his tracks for strongly adhering to the Rule of Law and US Constitution when it comes to illegal aliens in Maricopa County, Arizona. God bless Sheriff Joe, one of the most revered sheriffs ever in this nation.
Someone should ask the DNC how many new voters they are expecting to gain from this gimmick.

Civil rights?! They're here ILLEGALLY. Say it with me, ILLEGAL. Unlawful. They are not citizens; they are in no way protected from apprehension and deportation. They are only suffered to be here at all because misguided citizens have bought into the propaganda of the "poor, hard-working, mistreated migrant worker" and because our government refuses to enforce our national sovereignty. We must stop the madness.
Likely because we no longer seem to enforce the consequences of treason. Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank, Barack Obama, Rahm Emmanuel, et al, should all be charged with treason.
Politicians assume public office looking for ways around the Constitution. Where they cannot find a way around it, they simply ignore it; both courses of action are contrary to the solemn oaths they have sworn, and illegal besides.
