1. The NRA did not do this.
2. The EPA would still be pushing for such a ban, except the Dems are afraid for their political life now.
3. If you think they will abandon this type of legislation, you are mistaken. It is on temporary hold.
4. The only cure for this crap is to vote the Dems out of office and hunt the subversive individuals down and punish them.
It is TIME to DownSize DC!
Eliminate entire departments (Education, EPA, etc)
Force Congress and the Senate to telecommute most of the year from their home district. Under the thumb of the electorate and away from the lobbyists. Imagine the cost savings and it would totally change the center-of-gravity of the Federal Government.
IT IS TIME!
It is TIME to DownSize DC!

Agreed. It has become adversarial to liberty and prosperity, principally due to bad policy, but partly due to sheer scale.

Exactly. And as the article describes, it’s about gun control, not ‘the environment’.
2. The EPA would still be pushing for such a ban, except the Dems are afraid for their political life now.
The NRA sent a letter to EPA on 8/20 detailing that the TSCA does not allow EPA to regulate ammo. (NSSF also sent them a letter). EPA acknowledged the meat of the letter(s) in their response on 8/27 where they noted they had NO authority.
Here's an NRA release detailing the whole series of events:http://www.nraila.org/Legislation/Federal/Read.aspx?id=6010&issue.
The NRA/NSSF was absolutely behind this. I CAN see the Dems breathing a sigh of relief that the issue will go away now (well not for lead sinkers apparently...let's all keep an eye on that one, too).
