Senior executives, on-air personalities, producers, reporters, editors, writers and other self-identifying employees of ABC, CBS and NBC contributed more than $1 million to Democratic candidates and campaign committees in 2008, according to an analysis by The Examiner of data compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics.
The Democratic total of $1,020,816 was given by 1,160 employees of the three major broadcast television networks, with an average contribution of $880.
By contrast, only 193 of the employees contributed to Republican candidates and campaign committees, for a total of $142,863. The average Republican contribution was $744.
Disclosure of the heavily Democratic contributions by influential employees of the three major broadcast networks follows on the heels of controversy last week when it was learned that media baron Rupert Murdochs News Corp. contributed $1 million to the Republican Governors Association.

The list, ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Oh Frantzie.....where are you?
Unexpected?
No surprise that the libtards, socialists, anti-American crowd controls most of the general media outlets. Why? Because they have no deep feelings for America and the what the founding fathers stood for. They have no morals. They are selfish and think they are better than anyone else, and know what’s best for everyone else.
I’m sure the networks are trying to find out who the GOP donors are....grounds for immediate dismissal.
You know, this should be an easy fix...
If most of the real producers in this country are conservative, the answer is to buy up stock, start new TV/Radio/News outlets, and declare all out war on the liberals in the ownership business of the media.
If conservatives are the majority, it should be reflected in the media, and the only reason it isn’t is because the bread winners don’t see the advantage it gives the minority.
While we are at it, we should go after the education system as well.
This story isn’t really a testament against the media, it’s a testament against conservatives for not doing something about it.
Yeah it blows this garbage out of the water:http://newsinfo.iu.edu/news/page/normal/9993.html

The enemy within. I wish them ill health, and worse!
Spinning that broken record?
:}
This is right up his alley. LOL
And 95% of the positive coverage.
It's likely around 92% or higher.
wow that’s even higher than NFL players
Why, I’m Shocked... JUST SHOCKED, I TELL YA!!
Whodathunkit...
Now, how far out of whack with the general population is the percent of media donators who were GAY?
And this surprises — who?!
A person sort of cornered Wolf Blitzer, as Blitzer walked somewhere or other. The person quoted a survey of the news media elite, or other. He said 83 percent were actually Democrats and 89 percent voted for Bill Clinton. Hard to believe, but Blitzer sort of mumbled that he was disturbed by that.
That was about it. I had a respect for Blitzer at that point, simply because it may have dawned on him that his colleagues were of one political stripe. Alas, during the campaign for the presidency, Blitzer seemed almost ten years younger, after the election of President Obama.
Naw, the other 12% were undercover RINO’s.
It’s all good in the collective.
