Call us cynical but we wonder whether Mayor Michael Bloombergs passionate backing of the building of a controversial mosque near Ground Zero stems as much from Bloombergs belief in Americas freedom of faith as it might from the Mayors belief in the virtues of Islamic finance? Does the Mayors unshakable support have anything to do with The Bloomberg (company) becoming a single provider of information that caters to the Islamic business market? A Bloomberg five-year business plan for an Islamic finance portal via a Bloomberg hub at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is already a reality.

Michael Hussein Bloomberg
That has been fairly common knowledge since the day Bloomberg began flacking for the mosque! As Rush sez: Follow the money!
That makes Rush an anti semite doesn’t it!

Also look at the business interests of:
General Electric/MSNBC/NBC/CNBC - turbines, jet engines, desailization projects et al Middle East plus a really sh*tty balance sheet.
News Corp/Murdoch/Fox News with 10% or more Saudi Investors - Saudi bin Talal
Disney ABC News - Prince Al-Walid bin Talal is a major investor
Time Warner CNN - the Saudi bin Talal owned lots of AOL/TW
CBS/Viacom/MTV - Summer Redstone must have some Saudi $$
CitiCorp’s biggest individual shareholder - Prince Alwaleed bin Talal
The govt pumped in $380 billion in taxpayer money to bail out Bob Rubin’s Citicorp.
Shortly after 9/11 I got a call from some guys in a moderate Islamic country. They were very plugged in. It was not a Nigeria scam because they had a web site and provided log ins etc.
They pretty much said money was not an object, we had something they really needed and they wanted to do a joint venture. Post 9/11 we could have used it. I was a significant owner in our company.
They were pleasant and polite but in a nice way I pretty much told them to F.O..
I said due to “the events” - working together was impossible. This did not go over well. Their call was pretty much - we will make you very rich because daddy or uncle is pasrt fo the ruling class etc etc. I said have a nice day.
Well they we not giving up. They called back and started saying our uncle in the head of so and so in our country and he talked to so and so in the US State Dept and the Dept of Treasury etc etc.
So now it was almost a threat. I eventually got rid of them.
If I had done the deal I would have been loaded but F them. I would have sold my soul.
Bloomberg is sickening and has no soul.
The real question is how much more power do they have now? Could someone refuse them without consequeces?
I doubt it. I am not making the story up either. They had lots of capital, it was financial, etc. I forget but it was about 6 months after 9/11 or so. I knew Bush was in office and Repubs so I was not too afraid. I forget the exact agency. It could have been the office of the head of the US Commerce Dept and another US agency.
They were saying - they want us to do the deal and they have approved any deal. There is no embargo, we are a moderate state. I actually felt guilty because they sounded like decent guys. Really.
They knew I did not care if they called Bush. At one point I almost wanted to say - are you out of your effing minds? Islam just attacked NYC, killed 3,000 people, hit the Pentagon and I want to do a press release of a joint venture with....
If it was today, I know I would have had a hard time saying no. Not for the money but for fear of the Imam Admin. I still would not do it.
Now - I would just try to ignore them.
Bloomberg has so much money. Probably $10 to 13 billion in personal wealth. He would be a hero if he said no. Michael Savage read from Jewish holy book tonight. I forgot the verse. He was tying it to Bloomberg. Savage is so right. Sad.
Did the Little Piggy cry wee, wee, wee all the way home?
I’d love to know the passage Savage quoted
If a man puts his fear of sin before his reputation he will keep his reputation.
I forget exactly. Reputation may be the wrong word. Maybe honor or ego. I know it was fear of sin or something like that.
My take was if you have a conscience or fear of doing the wrong thing then your reputation will remain in tact. You have to put your fear of sin first. aka - don't do anything to create bad karma, etc. His point is that Bloomberg further down the road will be the laughing stock because of the Victory Mosque.
Does that make any sense or sound familiar?
It sort of sounds like it is from the “Sayings of Our Fathers” which in Hebrew are called “Pirke’ Avot’. There are 6 chapters of sayings.
One of the sayings that seem to translate near to this would be:
‘He who seeks renown loses his name’ (Chapter 1)
A man who puts renown before fear of sin will be disgraced or something like that.
I wish I would have stopped to write it down. Not everyone likes Savage. He has a lot of stream of consciousness and is all over the place. He is smart and can tie it all together. I think he is probably the best story teller on the radio plus he gets some of the best callers on the radio. The ones he lets talk are usually very good. Hannity gets the worst callers.
BTTT.
