I just called the NRSC (National Republican Senatorial Committee) and told them to stay out of Alaska politics and that I would never vote for John Cornyn again. I let them know how outraged I am.

The young lady tried to talk over me and said: "What we're doing is legal". I told her that I was not questioning the legality of it but this type of stunts by the NRSC, and the RNC, is why people have stopped sending them money. She said: "If Joe Miller is the nominee, we will support him 100%". I said: "JOE MILLER WILL BE THE NOMINEE IF IT'S NOT STOLEN FROM HIM."

I hope my call helps mess up their weekend at the NRSC.

The NRSC has an abysmal record. Remember, they rushed out to endorse both Specter and Crist. Cornyn should have been canned a long time ago.

I sent Joe Miller some money (twice) to support his campaign, but will not send one penny to the national republican organizations. My plan this year has been to support candidates directly and bypass the once relevant groups such as the NRSC and the RNC.

The hell with being "polite" with them. What they are doing is the epitome of impoliteness. Showing politeness to reprobates only serves to bolster the image of they being above us - when their mere existence relies on donated money.

Points to mention if you call the NRSC...

Ask what the groups purpose is... is it to support Republicans in unseating Democrats? Is it their purpose to support Republicans in the General Election? Or is it to protect one of their own in the ruling class in a primary?

Just my opinion, but the deed has already been done.
Whether they leave now, which they've no intention of doing, is irrelevant. The fact that Cornyn & Co. intruded in the first place is reason enough to oust him and urge anyone who will listen not to give the NRSC one red cent.

Since you went through the trouble of providing the number, I used it: told her I was becoming increasingly concerned about the actions and objectives, and that this looks like another “Al Franken style” theft.

She started to give me the “it's legal” spiel so I reminded her of Crist & Specter. I said “you think that we are all stupid and complacent, but it's with our wallets that you operate. We need to fight the crooked Democrat machine and take back our country, and not support the known crooks in our own party...”

She gave up and just said OK.

I was so calm and reasonable and cheery - it scared me!

I unloaded on an RNC solicitor the other day and a NRSC solicitor last week: no more money to the larger groups until the 'pubbies act like good fiscal conservatives and stop the insider baseball.

Only give money to candidates or PACs you trust. PERIOD.
