I actually like it, but I agree that it needs to be balanced with a lot more light and brass. OTOH, I really like steampunk themes and a lot of the RH stuff fits right into that.

That ‘belgian linen’ that they use for everything from upholstery to curtains to bed linens looks just like sackcloth. Old rusted cabinet for the bath, (zoom in).
