But here I am, reading the same stuff that gets posted, ad nauseum, on practically every thread related to Beck. It makes me sad, and it makes me sick, to see what FreeRepublic has turned into. This thread is officially hijacked, as so many have been allowed to be. With the willing oversight of the Mods. Sad to see FreeRepublic religious zealots allowed to run amok over any thread they want.
How’s those stuffed peppers coming along, AB? You use a rice based stuffing or breadcrumbs? I’ve had both; each has its own little flavor component that I enjoy.
You were right about the zealots on these boards. Boy howdy did I step into it! Elsie even had to nerve to say that my religion is useless. USELESS! Isn’t that rich? A bunch of self-professed Christians preaching their way as the only way to Heaven, and my faith is useless because I believe that Glenn Beck is an honorable Christian man? Wow, that’s a good one, Elsie!
I dated a woman a few years ago who was a “born again Christian,” according to her. We would have deep theological discussions on the phone, but it would always end with, “I will pray for you, because I don’t believe you will be in Heaven with me.” Wow... I mean, just... wow. So because I believe in a Holy Trinity vs. Jesus Christ as my savior, I’m going to Hell. VERY interesting, self-professed FReeper Christians. Very interesting indeed.
Hate may spew forth from even the most pious among us, yet the word of God is codified in the Bible, the Bible I read happens to be the New American Catholic Bible, not the KJV, and because of that, among other things, I’m going to Hell.
