Boxer drops into dead heat with Fiorina in Rasmussen poll

Youll remember that Rasmussen has actually been the good news poll for Barbara Boxer in her re-election campaign. The last Field Poll showed her trailing Carly Fiorina, and so did Survey USA, while Rasmussen at the same time had her up five points, 45/40. Now her Rasmussen firewall shows signs of crumbling as it has her lead down to a single point, 44/43:
Democratic incumbent Barbara Boxer and her Republican challenger Carly Fiorina are now essentially tied in Californias U.S. Senate race, moving the state from Leans Democratic to a Toss-Up in the Rasmussen ReportsElection 2010 Senate Balance of Power rankings. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in California shows Boxer with 44% support, while Fiorina picks up 43% of the vote. Five percent (5%) like another candidate in the race, and eight percent (8%) are undecided.
Earlier this month, Boxer held a five-point lead, 45% to 40%, and she was ahead 49% to 42% in July. Since February, Boxers support has ranged from 42% to 49%. In those same surveys, Fiorina, former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, has earned 38% to 43% of the vote.

It think all polls are necessarily skewed in this unusual election season - conservatively to the left, if that isn’t an ironic statement. I think that voter rage is something that can’t be measured, and it will translate into feet at the polls in November. These polls should probably be revised up 2 to 3 points for the Republicans for this factor alone.

Nov. 2 is going to be a LOOOONG night. Too bad the first of the month is the busiest for me; otherwise I would take Wednesday off. But I might change my strategy to go to bed early and wake up at 4 a.m. to catch more realistic numbers, not those cooked up by the urine stream media on Tuesday night.

Some, who want Babs Boxer and Jerry Brown defeated, are concerned because the CA Ballot in November has, on it, Proposition 19 to legalize and tax marijuana. This should bring out the Liberals in droves.
However, it can help our side too if organizations like MADD and Churches organize to defeat it. And while at the ballot box, throw out the Marxist Boxer and Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown.

An astute political analyst once said: "It doesn't matter if an incumbent is 3 or 4 points ahead if they are under 50%. When an incumbent is under 50% at this stage of the game, it does not bode well for them." Undecideds usually turn FOR the challenger.

“...why she sided with the EPA in denying water to the Central Valley...”
I Californians elect this arrogant, insufferable liberal again, they will have proven themselves to be just as insufferably arrogant and stupid as she is. (And maybe, just maybe, they’ll reap the consequences of their maddening liberalism that imposes so much on so many.)
IMHO

What makes Fiorina a nutjob? For starters, she's a truther. That puts her in the same category as Texas "Republican" Governor candidate Debra Medina who shot her own campaign down on the Glen beck show when she admitted that she was a truther. Carly goes downhill from there. She was bounced out of HP as the CEO because she was nuts and you have to work at getting bounced out of a CEO job.
To: DustyMoment
I internet searched “Is Fiorina a Truther?” and couldn’t find anything. What makes you think she is a “truther?” I am not sympathetic at all to “truther” beliefs, so I’d like to know.
