Hopefully, this will have a positive spill over effect in the Senate race against Boxer, which as of yesterday Rasmussen has at a dead heat.

If CA voters elect Brown, they deserve EVERYTHING that’s coming to them.

I doubt she'd be any better than Arnold and it looks like Cali is screwed no matter what.
I'm more concerned about how the attempt to remove Boxer is going.

California is in trouble no matter who wins the election.
My worry is Meg Whitman wins, the state fails financially, and the Republicans get the blame for all eternity.

HOpefully this is accurate and she starts to expand her lead. ALso i hope she has significant coattails bringing not only Fiorina but a slew of House candidates in with her as well

In Californika, it doesn't matter who is governor. The Governor office is one of the weakest in the United States. On the other hand, the legislator is one of most tyrannical based on its apportionment. (California only has 80 lower house members! by contrast, New Hampshire has 60- it send 53 to congress...)
California has set up a HOUSE of LORDS, that controls the Governors office and with Rubber Stamping court system.

Whitman has run a flawless, aggressive and effective campaign from DAY ONE.
She is a formidable politician.
I know (and somewhat agree) many consider her a RINO. But if she wins the CA Governor spot - she’ll likely be popular - and her presence on the bottom half of whichever presidential ticket Republicans run in 2012 could turn California’s electoral votes red.
Something to think about.
