Mayfield (Kentucky) denies petition for new mosque

A group of Somali natives has had its petition denied to open a new mosque in Mayfield, Kentucky because of concerns about parking. The building was already being used by a Muslim group for prayer, but they applied for a conditional use permit to use the building as a mosque. Neighboring businesses argued that the surrounding area wouldn't be able to handle the extra parking needed for the mosque.

The city board of adjustment voted on the petition after reviewing it Tuesday at city hall.

People are FED UP, and they are tired of being told to just suck up things happening in their communities that they were not consulted on or asked about. Tolerance is a two-way street, but in this country it has become one-way: we have to tolerate their BS and arrogance, or we are racists. No longer.

In a 'nutshell' and agree.

The 'Golden Rule' speaks to balance; as does 'love your neighbor - as 'thyself'. We are not asked to love or give greater consideration to our neighbor than we hold to ourselves. Not asked, save that is, by Obama and ignorant, self-loving/hating Liberals who remain forever clueless.

(Obama has challenged Americans to live the 'Golden Rule' per mosque issue. He has never asked the same of a Muslim.)

If the Somali ITs do not like it....they can return home. Plenty of mosques there....and Christian churches are now banned

Trust me - I understand you point. I was just pointing out (to the non-listening Left) that there can actually be non-bigotted reasons for not allowing a structure to be built.
