WEST TISBURY, Mass. The wind, rain and gloom that have curtailed most outdoor activities for the past three days have done little to keep President Barack Obama from enjoying his Martha's Vineyard vacation.
While he's been able to sneak in two rounds of golf, he told reporters Tuesday he's "doing a lot of reading" at the farm compound he's rented for the first family. "I'm having a great time," he said.
The president made the remarks, his first in public since heading out on vacation last week, as he escorted first lady Michelle Obama from the State Road restaurant.
The couple dined out for the second consecutive night, this time with Washington power broker Vernon Jordan and his wife, Ann, as well as Chicago friends Eric and Cheryl Whitaker. White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett also joined the group.

Easily predictable.
He is one angry man. Standing next to Michelle -Antoinette one doesn;t need to wonder why.
Her outfit is not all that bad for a beach resort Covers a multitude of sins.
It looks like Michelle “let ‘em eat cake” Obama has had quite a lot of Botox recently.
Or blow...oh never mind. LOL
Do not disparage Ma Kettle. I loved Ma Kettle! ; )
I’m convinced that she dressed this way just to mess with our heads! NO one has that poor of taste. Right?
The great Mark Steyn always calls Barry a “Nancy-boy”. Bwhahahhahaa. Steyn is so funny, and so often spot-on about Zero.
I can’t help feeling like he in particular doesn’t enjoy his kids very much. He leaves them behind for hours on the golf course instead of enjoying a family vacation, and then they go to dinner without the kids multiple nights. The kids are only going to be young once...the golf course will still be there when they’ve grown up. I just can’t imagine taking my kids on vacation and then repeatedly leaving them behind, but maybe it’s just me and our family style...?
Hmmmmmmm...that get up is African inspired, huh? Maybe she and Nancy P. will really get into this “trend” and put big plates in their lower lip.
Besides, if you had to wake up next to a woman that can't even remember to shave the 5:00 shadow off her forehead...you might be a little bummed, too.
It must be from one of those multi-option clothing patterns. You know... one pattern that makes seven dresses, with just a little change in materials, neckline, sleeves etc. It could be the patchouli variant of the tomato bomb dress:
LOL... I agree!
So ok. ..what did Valerie wear?
(Love that last pic.)
Remember when Michelle was in Spain and met the King and Queen for lunch? The King had arranged a separate lunch for Sasha, so the adults could dine alone. But Michelle insisted Sasha be allowed, and dragged her along. I am sure it was all the Spanish royalty could do to tolerate that.
Yet, the Obama girls never seem to be taken to a nice restaurant with Mama and Papa Obozo, nor when adults are around. The girls only get to go to the ice cream stands, pizza shops, lunch diners, etc. Otherwise, it appears, they are kept at home to eat from the WH kitchen with Granny. It is either that the Obamas don't want their girls around "big people" because they might be a bother. Or..maybe their table manners are so poor that the parents don't want the public to see them eating in better restaurants?
There is just something weird about the interaction in this family.
Been a long time since we have seen Michelle in one of her many white-woman hair wigs. Guess she does not wear them in the summer? Probably too hot-headed.
LOL.. .love the horse and at least the horse knows; ‘less is more’.
I CANNOT stop laughing at that outfit!
She looks like she’s wearing a lead shield so she can work in the x-ray department!!
ping please
OMG, has got to be the ugliest dress in existence.
Although ousted WH Social Secy Desiree Rogers topped it with this disaster.
Looks like she was doing the dishes and forgot to take off her apron.
They both could use a trip to a good dress shop.
