There’s no one better than JD in Arizona or a lot of other states.
Obviously, not.

In the POLTICAL area, being "better" means being "able to get more votes than the other guy."

I'm also tired of all those "marvelous conservatives" out there...

...Governor Tom McClintock, Senator Chuck DeVore, President Duncan Hunter -- and now, Senator Hayworth...
...not being able to master the art of RETAIL politics.

I never have and never will vote for someone ‘because they can win”!

Winning with the wrong philosophy is worse than losing!

Ahh, now you stepped in it.

It's the purity you see. Most would rather back a pure also ran than vote for someone who can actually get a few more votes.

After all, it does not matter who sits in the senate, rather the principles, because that is what writes and enacts legistation. Laws we must live by, or die bucking.

Hey, I wouldn't lump McClintock in there with the rest of them. He probably would have won if Arnie had not jumped into the fray, but once that happened, too many stupid CA "conservatives" saw stars and voted for the Austrian. As it is, McClintock can do some real good in Congress, where he is right now.

I agree. Something is wrong that they can’t win. but I don’t agree if your saying they suck because they lost. They lost because America is being hoodwinked. I again don’t want to pile on Palin, but it is important to note she didn’t support DeVore or Hayworth. No she had to support Fiorina and McCain. She supported Todd Tiahrt in Kansas and he lost. She can’t have it both ways and support the “alleged” conservative in one state and the Rino in the other.
