GILBERT, Ariz. The cast of "Survivor" has nothing on Sen. John McCain.
Once labeled a vulnerable incumbent, the four-term Arizona Republican is the clear front-runner against challenger J.D. Hayworth after spending some $20 million and casting his GOP opponent as a late-night infomercial huckster in a series of devastating ads. The primary is Tuesday.
McCain, who turns 74 on Aug. 29, has survived the deadly 1967 explosion on the USS Forrestal, 5 1/2 years in a Vietnam POW camp after being shot down near Hanoi and skin cancer. Politically, he has persisted through the Keating Five savings and loan scandal, and two failed bids for the White House.

Like I said, it is early and the polls in AZ are just opening. GET OFF THE COUCH, get OFF the soap box and DO SOME WORK to get out the vote today = make phone calls and e-mail to ANYone in AZ that you know. Remind them of what the real Juan McPain has done for - actually against the USA. Call local talk shows, make your voices heard EARLY today. Stop the whining and get moving. PLEASE dump McCain.
Here in Wisconsin we have a terrific man - Ron Johnson that will defeat Russ “I Love the Teacher’s Union money” Feingold in November. Our primary is in September. Watch for little old cheeseheads in Wisconsin to make a difference. So do YOUR part in AZ - GET on it! I rest my case.
Fool me once!!!!

Mr. “Get the money out of politics” has just spent $20 million in an attempt to get his lying carcass back to DC
Today is the day to tell the world our core principles are NOT for sale!
Log off and get down to your polling place RIGHT NOW to vote, and then stick around and clearly show just where you stand.
Go, Arizona, go!!!!

$20 million for re-election.
How’s that campaign finance reform - “there’s too much money in politics” -working for McCain?
I find it hard to trust Sarah Palin after this disaster ...................
*Any Arizonans who think McCain is going to be a conservative after he defeats JD are going to be surprised shortly after the election*
You are so right. If they vote for him today against JDH, they will soon find out that he would do or any say anything to get elected. He’s not going to change.
