Exactly, the US and Europe supply the funding for most of that construction through oil purchases.
If Zero had any sense he would end this idiotic moratorium on deepwater offshore drilling right now. It’s obvious that BP is the one badly mismanaged environmental threat drilling offshore, so all we need to do is force BP to use the right dilling practices like the rest of the industry, or kick them out of here. We can’t afford the lost jobs and the lost oil production, but then wait a minute, that moratorium is good for the Saudis so it will probably continue indefinitely unless the courts end it.
My last post should read, “so all we need to do is force BP to use the right drilling practices”,
(and we sure need to put pressure on BP to clean up its act.)
