To think that California would elect anything other then a RINO would be naive.

To believe that the so-called "moderates" currently in control of the party apparatus would ever support a solid conservative candidate would be naive. Each time one tries, they are shut out by the party "leaders". The last chairman openly called for a "purple party." J Edgar pretty much nailed it in post #23, above:

"The California GOP stands for nothing, and should therefore be abolished!

"Pure and simple.

"It’s only function is to provide a vehicle for crooks to get their hands upon public money, and state power levers. JMHO"

We just have to start turning this so called party around. I have never been a fan of third parties, thinking they will not garner enough votes. But I'm thinking this is the year I'll have to go third party.

I just don't see Whitman as doing or thinking as I, on any issue. Maybe if Brown is back in, our Republicans will hear enough from the citizens (as is what's happening on the national level), that they will start fighting or we can vote in those that will fight.

I don't know....I'm so frustrated!
