Michele 0bama and 0bama himself makes a mockery of “honoring” 9/11 victims by pretending to honor the 9/11 victims. 0bama is incapable of honoring these victims because his actions so strongly betray his utter contempt for America. You may think otherwise, but in my opinion, I do not believe that zero cares a wit about 9/11 victims or America (at least as it has been over the last 230 years).
Laura Bush should know better and refuse to be a part of this charade. She could have attended another ceremony honoring the victims in a less political separate setting.

It is not as though Bush shopped around for an event to ATTEND, as you put it. She was specifically invited. m.obama was NOT invited but has invited herself.
