When Jesus dined with sinners, He spoke to them about the kingdom of God and righteousness.

If the homosexual group invited Ann to teach them the Bible, then yes, that would be doing what Jesus did. Otherwise, it’s not the same thing and should not be compared.

Totally true. I agree. I am only addressing a possible rationalization she may have used to reconcile her faith with her action. We have all been there. It’s not good to rationalize, but it doesn’t automatically render one’s faith “fake.” In fact, in an odd way, it tends to confirm it, because if you don’t really care, why bother with a clever rationalization at all?
