Under Clinton’s regime, there was discussion on taxing people who didn’t pay for their parking at work especially at suburban offices. When democrats are the majority, they think of these lofty ideas of taking more money from your pocket where hard work still results in still being broke !
I believe that particular scheme was called "imputed income". They also were planning on taxing people who own thier homes for the value of the 'rent' they didn' t have to pay.
