General Heinz Guderian was one of the great generals of all time who was the inventor of Blitzkreig using fast moving armor and airpower with devastating effect. His conquest of France in 1940 is one the great military feats of all time.

His conquest of France in 1940 is one the great military feats of all time." I've always believed that the Allies blew it long before France was actually invaded. They ignored clear evidence that Germany was re-arming and they did nothing until it was too late.
There is no question that the Germans initially had superior tactics, once they started the war.
