Republican Rand Paul still holds a modest lead over Democrat Jack Conway in Kentucky's U.S. Senate contest.
The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters shows Paul picking up 49% support, while Conway earns the vote from 40%. Four percent (4%) prefer another candidate, and seven percent (7%) are undecided.

Which, uhm, gate would that be? And I think come October, you may be recanting your position on economics. Unless of course you like total economic collapse so you and Darth Vader can play pretend doomsday games and fantasize about how you will rule the post apocalyptic world.
ROTFLMAO!!! >:-)
Little boys and their imaginations.
7-9 points should be the final margin in November. This one will not be close enough to worry about. Conway is totally invisible. The local media dig up something everyday to try and trash Paul. On Friday they made a big deal that some soft-porn producer had contributed $4k to his campaign (legally). A couple of weeks ago, they tried to make an issue that he hadn’t actually graduated from Baylor. The facts are that he was such a top student, he got accepted to prestigious Duke medical school after only 3 years of undergrad.
Paul will drive Obama, the libs, and media bonkers in DC next few years. It will be fun.
I got first dibs on running Bartertown.
LOL!!!
Great News! Didn’t think that poll showing Conway tied was accurate. Hey but I heard the DCC is going to spend 1.3 million on attack ads in this race.
Balancing the budget and returning to a simpler, saner America means being frugal in defense spending, not building 1B embassies, and getting Health, education, and welfare entirely out of the budget of the Federal Gov’t.
BUT, anytime a candidate comes along who actually stands for smaller gov’t, this howl comes forth and they are demonized as nutters and insane.
So, who do you guys who hate the libertarians so much... who do you think will balance the budget and cut welfare spending? Do you have someone in mind?
Is it the current crop of GOP-approved candidates that are set to take back Congress in November? Do you REALLY think they will accomplish anything?
Seriously, do you?
I am just asking, cause, I don’t think so. I think the GOP is playing the people who want reform and nothing substantial will change anytime soon. I could be wrong tho.
What do you think?
Please do. It’s less money they have for more marginal races.
Paul has this if they dropped 30 million and every official in the state.
Your libertarian fantasy will never become reality.
You make up 1-2% of the GOP at most and are widely regarded as fringe.
