I am a fan of HG Wells and his original The Time Machine, and the images of the Morlock temples, the sirens, the conditioned Eloi being called into the temples and then being consumed seems to be conceived from what possible current ideology that we have now?
The Islamic Mosque, it has its loudspeakers calling for its followers who are conditioned to come forth as cattle.
That siren scene in “The Time Machine” gives me shivers to this day. The parallel between the suddenly robotic Eloi, and Muslims who are lobotomized five times daily is equally chilling. And the latter are all too real.
