Good news, and answered prayers.

It’s the economy stupid.

To attribute Obama’s jewish supporters of angst over his behaviour towards Israel is simply unlikely.

Jewish people like everyone else are very hard hit by unemployment and this dreadful economy.

Interesting. The American Jewish infatuation with liberals and the Democrat Party has been one of the most inexplicable aspects of US politics for as long as I have been following things.

It’s about time they realized which side of the bread has the butter on it. Or should that be shmaltz?

“Special time and care on our relationship with the Muslim world,”
Any questions about Obama being dumb and dangerous?.

I don’t know. My liberal, libertarian jewish friend says she doesn’t care if theY build a mosque at ground zero or not. She is all for tolerance and diversity. Her friend Jane died in one of the planes that hit the world trade tower. I asked her, what would Jane think, and she said “Jane would want the mosque.”

I would not be surprised if we start to see support from blacks peeling away from Obama as well.

While it will never be to a great extent, I can actually see Obama’s support drop into the mid-80s among blacks.

His destruction of the economy and his support of islam will be coupled with new stories about his “half-black” heritage that will drive down his support.

A man I work with (absolutely brilliant) is a secular Jew, and a big Democrat supporter.

We get into political discussions sometimes, but less seldom than you would think. Mostly, I enjoy his incredible wit and his lighting fast sense of perception.

He is not a big supporter of Netanyahu, and is suspicious of the "the right" everywhere (in general and in practice). However, when Obama treated Netanyahu like a used paper towel, I could see the anger rise up in him.

I believe many Jews are waking up. Not all, but many.

All it takes is a crack for the foundation to have serious problems. If the Democrats lose the Jews, they lose - big time. They lose leadership, intelligence, and financing. They lose their most capable and successful voting bloc.

If the Democrats lost the Jews, all they have left is all the homosexual vote, almost all of the union vote, 90% of the Black vote, and about 60% of the Hispanic vote.

Jews are leaving the Democratic Party for reasons that have to do with the party platform. Yes, it is about support for Israel, which has been less ardent with the left-wing becoming increasingly shrill, vociferous, gaining influence on Party politics, platform, with more of a hostile, jaundiced eye towards Israel,Jewish political viewpoint.

By this time next year, someone will ask the polling question: Is Obama an enemy or friend to the USA?

The lapdog media will be shocked by the response, no doubt.

the number of Jews who identify as Republican or as independents who lean Republican has increased by more than half since the year he was elected. At 33 percent it now stands at the highest level since the data have been kept. In 2008, the ratio of Democratic Jews to Republican Jews was far more than three to one. Now it’s less than two to one.

The Jewish support for Republicans has gone from roughly 22% to 33%, significant but not earth moving since the starting point is pretty low. And as others have pointed out, Jews aren't just part of the American left, but are often the source of leftist ideology and leaders of the left. And if we should see a more Israel friendly US Dim president in the future, I'd bet most of those moving away from Obama now would move right back into the Dim party.

The thing that might finally move the Jews permanently away from the Dims could be a growing Moslem presence and influence in the Dim party.

Read the article posted here on Free Republic yesterday about Highland Park, IL and its citizens protesting high park district (local government)salaries. HP has a large Jewish population. It appears that some Jews are waking up to economic reality.

Look at the REAL demographics:

American Jews live mostly in just 30 Congressional Districts.

Nearly all of the districts which feature the largest populations of Jews are in established Jewish communities with stable populations, like New York City, Los Angeles, Southern Florida, Chicago, Boston, Baltimore, and New Jersey.

Not many swing states or districts, except Florida.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Freepers were convinced in 2008 that the "Pumas" and the "Bradley effect" were going to keep Zero from the Presidency. They were 100% deluded.

So with the stories about Jews deserting the Democrats, they show up again and again and have never yet been anything but self delusion by the GOP.

In September 2009, Obama went before the United Nations and declared, “America does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements.”
Hey Obama,i’m sure a bit more American than you are and i do accept continuing settlements by Israel.

I could never understand why so many Jews voted against their self-interest by voting for democrats.

I think people are realizing Ø isn't a Democrat, at least not one like they've ever voted for before. THIS is something very different and at last people are seeing something is wrong. His "Islamic-prone" actions certainly are all indicators of the CHANGE ... but I don't think it is as simple as a Jews/Israel thing ... I believe it is deeper and with much greater diversity than just the Jews. Ø is not "your father's Democrat".
