If you have a sizable grassy area that is reasonably level a chicken tractor (coop that can be moved around easily) makes more sense. I’m working on one now. Chickens eat a lot of bugs and grass (Guineas, too). The benefit of a chicken tractor is mobile bug control plus free fertilizer. Check out www.backyardchickens.com. Thanks but I have a really small back yard and I’m only considering about 4 or 5 birds. I wish I had enough property for one of those to be a consideration.
