Ann Coulter quote:

“Well, I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one way or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. You know what, in my country, in my family, I do believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman, no offense to anybody out there. But that’s how I was raised, and I believe that it should be between a man and a woman.”

o.k. Anne quote in her personal belief is good. Unfortunatley if that is her actual quote, she is willng to let go of it for those who do not believe that marriage is between a man and a women.

Did Ann say that before or after Carrie Prejean said the exact same thing at the Miss USA pageant?

This quote exemplifies the attitude that there is nothing more important to human existance beyond the freedom to be ‘me’.

You provided no source or date for your quote, and you spread a malicious, outright lie. I will be gracious and assume you did it in ignorance, and that you will be glad to retract it and apologize.

I did your homework for you:

Miss USA 2009 controversy

Carrie Prejean responded:

You know what, in my country, in my family, I think I believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman, no offense to anybody out there. Ann Coulter, wrote that "the Miss USA contest held a press conference to announce that Prejean had breast implants. Take a Christian position in public and Satan's handmaidens will turn all your secrets into front-page news." Regarding the release of "genuine 'semi-nude' photos," Ann commented that "Liberals believe abortion is a sacrament, but smoking, wearing short skirts and modeling lingerie are mortal sins. (And if wearing women's underwear is a basis for being disqualified from the pageant, that's the end of Perez Hilton's judging career.)" ~ Liberal Taliban Issues Fatwa Against Miss California by Ann Coulter

Coulter under fire for anti-gay slur

"I do want to point out one thing that has been driving me crazy with the media -- how they keep describing Mitt Romney's position as being pro-gays, and that's going to upset the right wingers," she said. "Well, you know, screw you! I'm not anti-gay. We're against gay marriage. I don't want gays to be discriminated against." bttt
