I hope he takes the rest of the year off, the less he does the better off we are. I honestly think he has so much resentment for Americans (who aren’t communists) that he doesn’t care at all what he looks like to us - he’s laughing and glad we suffer.
The Grand Strategy was that the dems get defenestrated by the electorate and have to spend a few election cycles out of power but that the pubbies will blow their opportunity out their bungholio like they always do and fail to repeal any of the recent legislation.
Then the dems will be back in power. This time for good.
The problem with this strategy is that it requires dozens of dem congresscritters to commit seppuku while singing the Internationale and saluting The One. Unfortunately for Obama, most dems are not the self-sacrificing type. Even Dingy Harry is breaking ranks. After November, I wot the dems will use their last few months in power not to finish passing the Messiah’s agenda but to extract revenge on his hide.
When it sinks in how thoroughly they have been used what happens next is gonna be ugly.
I think that he and his fellow travelers see our suffering as an inconvenience that we have to endure as we transition into a fully socialist society. They’re convinced that socialism works but that it just hasn’t been done right before.
“We are the change we have been waiting for.”
In their arrogance, they believe they are unique and beautiful snowflakes sent to show the world how it is done.
Right now they’re snuffing out business, convinced that it’s capitalism standing between us and Utopia. But, as their policies continue to produce suffering and misery they’ll be looking for other institutions to blame and destroy for own their failures.
