not unless I just wanted to smear Israel’s name! Here’s the relevant law:

First, offenders are no longer able to avoid extradition by claiming citizenship after committing an offense in the United States; limitations on extradition apply only if the defendant establishes that he was a citizen and resident of Israel at the time of the offense.
Second, the limitations on extradition are significantly modified: as long as we are able to assure that the defendant will be returned to Israel to serve his sentence, Israeli citizens may be extradited to stand trial.
