My wife always liked going to the t-nall games for the comedy. But I actually like baseball and hate to see it played like that.

Things might be changing, though. Police had to be called to respond to t-ball game incidents twice this year in our town...

Before we had kids, many years ago, some friends invited us to their 6yr old’s soccer game. The game turned into a riot with parents attacking each other and the ref. got a broken nose. The kids mostly stood around amused or dazed by what was going on. My wife and I agreed that our kids would never play soccer.

Our kids were swimmers. Great sport. They got into water polo when they were in high school (and college for our daughter). Basketball was an occasional thing.

Regarding T-ball, a friend’s daughter played. He told her that when she hit the ball to start running and keep running until she got home. The all the kids started doing it. Then next year they had a rule that you had to stop at second. It was a stupid rule because on the next hit the kid ran home anyway. Oh well.
