A concern that I’m surprised hasn’t been raised in this thread is the potential problems this will cause for Christian missionaries who have been called to witness to Muslims.
In my view, said missionaries already have enough roadblocks in their path that render witnessing to Muslims difficult; a church sponsporing a Quaran book-burning will only harden hearts, not win them for Christianity.
The pastor of this church is in the wrong, on this issue.
