ANd why did they black out the issue and expiration dates?

We all know he’s POTUS so he has a Diplomatic Passport presumably issued at some point after he own election and prior to his inauguration.

And I assume he held a similar Diplomatic Passport when he was a US Senator, they are all issued one.

There's a long history of communists using assumed names, at least while they are "in the struggle." Lenin and Stalin are both aliases.

Readers of William Shirer's great work The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich will recall that Adolf Hitler's surname was disputed and it's history ambiguous, although most of the ambiguity arose in his father's family history.

Not the Pakistan passport garbage again! Pure speculation based upon a travel advisory that legend now has it was a travel ban, necessitating a foreign passport that was then invented to be Indonesian.
