10:30? Bad timing. Christians are at church and most others are hung over or tired. Only the Muslims will be awake. (I’m exagerating but I will need sunglasses and a coffee!)
God’s speed to everyone who can attend. This is the most disgusting thing that has probably ever happened in our country. Is there any clear reason the long-existing Greek Orthodox Church that was destroyed in the attack on our country was denied permission to rebuild, while a totally new entity, the Militant Muzzi Endoctrination Center, has been given a free pass, and blessed by our boy president?
Yes, there is a reason. Our “leaders” have lost their frickin’ minds!
I’ll be there...as long as things don’t get “ugly”.
.
Location of the protest from the announcement:
WHERE: AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF WEST BROADWAY AND CHURCH STREET AT PARK PLACE
Looking at a map, W. Broadway and Church St. are parallel to each other, so there is no intersection of W. B'way and Church St. Do the organizers mean the NE corner of the block between W. Broadway and Church St. at Park Place?
Also, while Park Pl. is two blocks north of Ground Zero (defined as the area within the perimeter of the streets that immediately surround the hole in the ground - I consider the building under consideration as part of Ground Zero given that it was directly damaged by debris of one of the airplanes on 9/11), Cedar St. is one block south of Ground Zero and Ground Zero encompasses five blocks on Church St. So, I would say that Cedar St. is seven blocks south of Park Pl.
Thanks for the correction. I was repeating the instructions that the woman at O’Hara’s gave me. I don’t think anyone will have any trouble finding the protest.
Just spoke on the phone to Tim Brown and Tim Sumner who are very optimistic due to the tremendous turn out for the protest, both by citiens AND the media.
What great men and it is a privilege to know them.
I managed to send a message through both, to Andy Sullivan, that I am completely in love with him! (Perhaps I should say “warning” versus “message”.
Thank you!
Thanx for the pix.
I read the construction workers already said “No way” will they build that temple of hate. Hope they follow thru on that.
Wow, quite a turn out!
I heard a construction worker call a talk show, and said he, and many of his construction worker friends, would NOT be building the mosque.
is that pic from the protest?? WOW.
