The problem won't be the union bosses not allowing the workers to build the mosque; the bosses will take their orders from Obama. The problem, from what I'm hearing, will be the rank-and-file telling the union bosses to get stuffed.

Con Ed owns half the site
plans submitted and approved include ConEd’s property.
so,how would this get built ?

they would have to submit revised plans and this go round will be different in light of nationwide uproar.

I would like someone out there to find out what Bloomberg’s payoff for these services will be. I read some rumblings about his business dealings in the UAE but nothing definite.

It's hard to believe Soebarkah would be that politically stupid. If there were a compromise and a site change, Soebarkah would still get his creds for "standing up for constitutional rights," but the mosque issue would eventually go away. If he really is encouraging the imam to dig in his heels about the site, he is just making matters worse for himself politically. I must say I don't understand this fellow at all!
