At noon it was overcast (not white sky!) and cool and definitely autumn-like. But at 4 it was blue sky, sunny, just warm enough to not need my jacket, and the sun highlighted the fall colors.
Oh my. Just looked out the window and the cedar fronds are now turning orange. The next phase of autumn underway. (Still missing the way-overdue morning fogs, though.) We're getting very close to "spiderwebs everywhere," which is the last stage before the leaves are all down and we start sliding into winter.
A high of 98 today. Winter is on its way.... *sigh*
They arrived this morning.
