You are right on. I don’t use the N word. As in the case of pResident, I just simply say he is half N and half White. Yesterday when the tragic news came out of the woman who drove her car into the water to drown her two toddlers, when asked who she was I just said, “she is a N”, of course pronounced en just for clarification.
I am 75 years old and had enough of this happy crap called Politically Correct and will no longer pull punches just to satisfy those who will immediately use the race card or call me a bigot.
As you can see by my post 48, I do. But I never use it in reference to black people for obvious reasons. I use it in a similar way to how I would say someone is “lazy” or a “Ne’re do well.”
That is the other meaning of the word.
