PHILADELPHIA New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg traveled Tuesday to Pennsylvania to endorse Democratic U.S. Senate hopeful Joe Sestak, bringing along with him the politically volatile controversy surrounding the proposed mosque and cultural center near Ground Zero.
Bloomberg and Sestak, speaking under a blazing sun in the parking lot of a shopping plaza, responded to a flurry of inquiries from reporters and at least one member of the crowd about their position on the proposal to build an Islamic center two blocks from the site of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Dr. Robert B. Sklaroff, a physician sitting in the audience who has been outspoken on the mosque issue, asked Bloomberg to respond to comments from one of the projects organizers that Sklaroff described as anti-American. As he started to ask a second question about the controversy, the crowd began to boo him.

Daddy Bloomberg is the TRUE type of politician whom we need to stay clear of along with anyone who seeks his support.

The WTC Victory Mosque is New Yorks version of the Al Aqsa Mosque on the ruins of the Temple Mount.

Great timing, Joe.
I can't decide who's the bigger dope, Bloomberg or Sestak.

Rush on Bloomy:

"Somebody needs to tell Mayor Bloomberg that Faisal Shahzad, the bomber, is heavy user of salt and a big-time smoker. That will light Bloomberg's fire!"
"They get no leadership from Washington. They get no leadership from Obama. What did we get? We get press statements. We get self-serving talking points leaked to friendly media. "Oh, yeah, we were on this from day one, we're on the case, we know exactly what we're doing here, why, this is a one-off. We have total competence here, know exactly what we're doing." What we have here is weakness in leadership all across the country. New York, Bloomberg is no Giuliani. Bloomberg has made a literal, ahhh, of himself. It is absolutely breathtaking. It's beyond comprehension. (imitating Bloomberg) "Oh, yeah, Katie, no question this guy is a tea partier, white guy, probably ticked off, mid-forties, probably ticked off at the health care bill." He didn't even have the sense to blame it on Arizona's immigration law. Then after it's discovered who this guy really is, "I'm not going to tolerate any backlash against Muslims or Middle Easterners in New York." I know Giuliani and Bloomberg get along, but sorry, Bloomberg is no Giuliani."

The new mosque can have a Bloomberg-Sestak Lounge, right next to the Barack Hussein Obama Ice Cream Parlor.
