Gore calls for major protests on climate change inaction By Russell Berman - 08/17/10 04:54 PM ET
Former Vice President Gore is calling for major rallies to protest congressional inaction on climate change.
In a post on his personal blog headlined The Movement We Need, Gore linked to and quoted from an Australian wire service report that tens of thousands of protesters have taken to the streets across Australia to urge the major political parties to take action on climate change.
Across the world, when politicians fail to take action to solve the climate crisis, people are taking action, Gore wrote.
He added after excerpting the news report: It is my hope we see activism like this here in the United States.
Gore noted he trained activists in Australia to deliver the slideshow that formed the basis for the documentary film that won him an Academy Award. A representative of Gores Alliance for Climate Protection addressed the rally in Sydney.
Gore has in recent weeks stepped up his criticism of the Senate for its inability to pass a comprehensive energy and climate bill that would put a price on carbon. In a conference call with environmental activists last week, he reportedly said the United States government in its entirety, largely because of the opposition in the United States Senate to taking action on clean energy and a solution to the climate crisis, has failed us.
Big mistake Al. When nobody shows up it will be apparent to all just how inconsequential you are now. The gravy train’s coming to an end.
Constipated again, Al?
Release the Chakra!
I imagine the divorce is taking a big bite out of Algore’s bank accounts. He needs to do something to get the money rolling in again. Look for the sequel, “Insignificant Truth II” coming soon!
I have a feeling that no one will give a damn.
He’s lost over half of the country who don’t believe the bullshit. Couple that with a horrible economy, and he is just as well to take his millions and go away.
He’ll charge you to protest. He’s doing it for more money and to save face. He knows that today, nobody believes him. Well....maybe a few nut cases.
He needs a good massage, doesn’t he?
I still never understand what’s up with carbon credits and carbon trading. If carbon is “bad”, why are you allowed to continue spewing your “emissions” just because you pay a tax for it? If the enviro-radicals were intellectually honest about this, wouldn’t they reject the notion of carbon credits as a sideshow that still allows all of these “bad emissions”????? Am I missing something?
The fat SOB must be running out of money so he wants the fraudulent carbon dioxide tax issue to come up so his criminal ponzi scheme Carbon Credit Exchange in Chicago can make millions.
Glen Beck exposed this operation and it links to Soros, Gore, and lots of other leftists who want to scam the American businessmen and taxpayers again, making them pay for non-existent pollution (if you breathe, you are a polluter according to their thinking and that of 5 idiots on the Supreme Court).
What a POS Gore is.
"He added after excerpting the news report: It is my hope we see activism like this here in the United States. "

The first protest picket line should be at Gore's 9 million dollar Montecito estate.
And boy does he need to sell those carbon offsets for the upcoming divorce settlement. What a low life jerk.
“When nobody shows up”
But when they plan a rally in your area, use their web site to sign yourself up (and however many other email accounts you have) to give the impression it will be a HUGE rally, with big tents, a giant sound system, a half million water bottles.
It will make the news photos all the more bleak.
And demands someone touch his penis.
Methinks he’s running out of happy endings.
“Am I missing something?”
Go look up the speeches made at Hopenhagen. Most were about Global Governance and EcoJustice and wealth sharing.
It’s not about carbon, it’s about who controls the flow of carbon, and most of the world’s economy.
It’s about who controls you.
Timing is everything. The Dems are trying to energize their base before the midterms. To the streets....
Al, why don't you just shut up and go criminally molest a hippie woman who's your daughter's age?
Seriously. Shut up.
